V2_OS
V2_OS by the V2 Lab in Netherlands. This OS began its public life as proprietary, but the full sourcecode has now been released as GPL, making it an original, free OS. The main selling point of the system is that it is entirely written in x86 assembly and focused on speed for projects like real-time video serving, etc. Its functionality is therefore limited to that area, however it is already able to start applications from the console (albeit in a monotasked environment).
