A *(Learning Lounge) course about the _(TUNES Project).

<p><a href="http://www.ucl.ac.uk/~ucapare/outline.htm">The Ultimate OS</a>. by _(Alexis Read). Though a rough outline, actually partly a dissonant collage of other peoples texts, this text captures the general idea well for the general audience. It starts in a mainstream buzzword style and gradually sneeks into a certain academic-cs-geek-phalanx kind of talking, hoping that you don't notice.

Texts to read, in order of shallowness:

<ul>
<li><a href="http://www.eleves.ens.fr:8080/home/madore/computers/tunes.html">David Madore's Tunes page</a></li>
<li><a href="http://lists.tunes.org/archives/tunes/2001-July/003162.html">Tril's description</a></li>
<li>_(Tunes FAQ)</li>
<li><a href="http://tunes.org/papers/WhyNewOS/index.html">Why A New OS</a></li>
<li><a href="http://fare.tunes.org/articles/ll99/index.en.html">Metaprogramming and free availability of sources</a></li>
</ul>

Perhaps this course should be split into several courses talking about different aspects of Tunes.
