A *(programming language) designed for writing _(concurrent|concurrency) and possibly _(distributed) programs. The basic constructs are those of resources (_(process)es and their local state - much like _(actor)s) and operations (the primitive operations of interaction). There are also shared/global state and operations.

SR provides a novel integration of the mechanisms for invoking and servicing operations, so local and remote procedure call, rendezvous, message passing, dynamic process creation, multicast, and semaphores are supported.
