James Michael DuPont is a *(person) and a Tunes *(contributor).

Mike is my nickname.

_(GCC Introspector Blogger|http://gccintrospector.blogspot.com), _(Introspector project|http://introspector.sf.net)

I don't share the general feelings of tunes members towards C, or C++. I have been programming C and C++ for that past 10 years. Many people implement type systems in C and C++, every major project has some meta-information implemented in on its own.

My goal is to interface into existing C programs, to connect them to the next generation. I try and break down barriers between systems, linking them together. After 8 years of working in the Telecoms industry, I see how systems can be connected by intelligent networks, how old systems are upgraded by layering of protocols. This is the driving idea behind the intropspector, think about a plug-in card for all free software that will let it speak tunes.

Even after the point that tunes is implemented, people will still have C code, they will still cling to to the languages that they know. They cling to the concepts they understand. Assuming you have converted a program into the new tunes os, and converted the languages to HLL and LLL. Wont people still want to write things like " for (int i=0; i<10; i++){ /*...*/} "?
